This is a career and technical education program and is used by many students to establish a career that will support them and their families. Limited privately owned vehicles are accepted as student projects such as dent repair, parts replacement, frame straightening and refinishing operations. Other projects from the campus at large include fabricating sheet metal pieces and other parts used by the campus M&O department, Technical Services and Support, the Child Care Center and other instructional career technical programs.
Attainment of the A.A. Degree can enhance the students education and preparation for career ladder moves or for transferring on to a four year university. Students may enter the program in the Fall or Spring semester or Summer sessions and must supply their own hand tools, personal safety equipment and also purchase textbooks as assigned.
