At Golden West College the Office of Disabled Students Programs and Services' (DSP&S) mission  is to provide appropriate, reliable, comprehensive, and accessible services to students with documented disabilities who request such services. We strive to facilitate and encourage academic achievement, foster independence, self-advocacy, and social inclusion to qualified disabled students.

Highlights:

  • New Resource/High Tech Center – Brand new computers, adaptive equipment including hardware & software.
  • Updated website with announcements, forms, and valuable information about DSP&S.
  • Braille support services available - Assessment exams and financial forms available in Braille as well as other college information upon requests.
  • Math Tutors for disabled students.
  • Interpretype devices for support staff to communicate with deaf or hard of hearing students more efficiently.
  • Lockers for students to store their belongings while taking tests.
