Pamela J. Banks

Pamela Joanne Banks is a real pillar of hope and opportunity for  our future leaders. Pamela’s accomplishments in organizing recreational community programs mirror her commitment to help youths succeed. Currently, she is the educational program supervisor for Seattle Parks and Recreation Department. Pamela has also worked as an afterschool programs coordinator for the Seattle public schools. Throughout her distinguished career, she has been an active member in the Washington Recreation and Parks Association, a volunteer sports coach, and has worked in paid and volunteer positions for kids of color and from low-income families. Pamela earned an associate’s degree from Golden West College and a bachelor’s degree in editorial journalism from the University of Washington.
