Barry and Madeline Cohen

Barry and Madeline Cohen are acknowledged for their commitment to assist prospective peace officers training in the Golden West College Police Academy in achieving their career goals. They recognize that a solid education has played an important role in the success of their family accomplishments and are personally committed to contributing to their community. They have established the Cohen Family Scholarship. The Cohens moved to Orange County from New Jersey more than 30 years ago and now reside in Huntington Beach. Madeline Cohen is a graduate of New Jersey State College and has been a teacher in the Garden Grove School District for 30 years. Barry Cohen, a self-employed businessman, graduated from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

Barry and Madeline Cohen
Barry and Madeline have two adult children, one grandchild, and are expecting another. Their daughter, Yvette, is a teacher and graduate of California State University, Long Beach. And their son, Isaac, graduated from California State University, San Jose, Golden West College Police Academy, and the U. S. Border Patrol Academy. He works as a U. S. border patrol agent.
