The School of Nursing at Golden West College offers a program that leads to an Associate Degree in Nursing and qualifies the graduate to take the National Council Licensure Examination to become a Registered Nurse.

GWC Nursing Department News

Admission Application Filing Periods:    
Fall 2024 Concurrent Enrollment Pathway (CEP) BSN  application will be accepted starting November 1, 2023. Application link will be posted on the Concurrent Enrollment Pathway page.  Still accepting applications.
Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 application filing period is now CLOSED. Notifications will be emailed to the student's CCCD email no later than June 10, 2024.  
 “How to Apply” webpage for the Online Nursing Application link will open only during application filing period.
Student ID# and Student Email Address from one of the Coast Community Colleges (Golden West College, Coastline College, or Orange Coast College) are required for the nursing admission application. Apply using the "How to Apply" link on the GWC Nursing website  http://www.goldenwestcollege.edu/nursing/application/
If not a GWC student, complete the college application on the website (www.goldenwestcollege.edu/enrollment/admissions/application/). 
Students are highly recommended to not select the option of P/NP for the Anatomy, Microbiology or Physiology courses. Selecting this option will default to a "C" letter grade. All science courses must be completed prior to applying to the program to receive points.
